This week for writing we have been looking at ARMS and CUPS. These are things that we can include in our writing. At the end we edit our work to make sure it is the best work we have ever done and then we make sure we try and add ARMS and CUPS. ARMS stands for Add, Remove, Move, and Subsitute. And CUPS stands for Capitalisation, Understanding, Punctuation, and Spelling. We always check our work using those words once we have finshed. Here is an actrostic poem I made about ARMS and CUPS.
(Sorry it is quite hard to see Subsitute and Capitalisation but here it is) Do you use ARMS and CUPS in your learning?
I am a student at St Francis of Assisi Catholic School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post

Hi Eilish
ReplyDeleteI really like your acrostic poem. I've never seen one on a blog post before. You would be surprised at how much I am learning from reading blog posts. Are you enjoying working from home?
Steve
