How has technology changed the way we get around

Has technology changed your life. If it has, has it made your life better or worse? For most people it probably has enabled us to live an easier less complicated life. Here are some examples of things that have changed.
One of the things that have changed is transport. There used to be just cars and bikes and buses. But now there are lime scooters and electric bikes and even electric cars. When the first car was invented it was never really a good idea, Well it did make everyone's life better but did it really? Climate change is happening because of the petroleum cars. That is why they made electric cars because it is a cleaner source than petrol. But is it really that good?
We also have lime scooters. I have been on a couple and personally I loved them. It was quite scary but it was good. You could probably go at the speed of a car and yet still not be that bad for the environment. The only thing is, is that A LOT of injuries happen on lime scooters. (News reporter: A pedestrian has just been hit by a lime scooter. Or News reporter 2: A person has just crashed into a wall on a lime scooter or A person just fell off a lime scooter… and so on) They are way better for the environment though.
What about Bikes, Bikes are awesome. You can get electric bikes now. Which makes life way easier because let's just say 100 pedals would get you 10 metres but with an electric bike it would be about 40 pedals to get you 10 metres. It makes it less tiring and more fun.
In conclusion I think that technology has changed the way we have got around because now most things are electric. It has made life much easier. Although some things can be dangerous. Have they made our lives better? What do you think?
