Super sport

This year my school has been lucky enough to be able to participate in winter sport. it is not the first time our school has done this. I play netball. I very suprisingly got into the A team. This season I think we have done great. We made it right through to centrals. we have had a big success as we have one all of our games. Our first time together was when we played in a catholic schools tournument. We won all of our games at the tournumeant. I unfortunately was not there to play the north zones tournument as I was sick. throughout the season out team has faced many challenges. I would like to say a big thank you to Chantelle for coaching us and teaching us some skills. I would also like to say thankyou to my mum and other suppoters for coming down and watching us. I think we have inproved so much this season we have learnt so many new skills. One thing I enjoyed this season was that i got to know my team and that we did so well. Lego Lake

Lego Lake

  On the 5th of August my hub (Tumu) Played with lego for most of the day. I bet your wondering why and how were we allowed to. Well we were very lucky to have a Lady named rachel come in and provide us with the lego. We got oto do 3 challenges the first one we did was building a bridge that could fit across 2 tables. Once we had biult our bridge we put it in between tables and put stacks of books on it and we also put a ver very heavy pencil case. We got to choose if we wanted to do it with a buddy I did it with Sophie (Go check out her blog because she has something about lego too) We needed to make it nice and stable. Next we had to do a tallest tower challenge. Sophie and I paired up together again and built a very good tower but right at the end Miss Parker said we could merge with another group to make a very tall tower.Our tower was the multi coloured one on the bottom and theirs was the red on on the top. This is our end product.

Lastly we went and made cars out of lego. i was with Sophie again. This was probably the hardest one . Our car was very good until we did the compitition. our car completly failed. Here are some pictures and videos of our car.

My Speechless Speech

Last term we had to make a speech about climate change. This term we are doing a speech competition we got to choose if we wanted to do it or not. I wanted too. We also got to choose wether or nopt we use our s[eech from last term or make a new one on anything. I wanted to use my speech from last term. This is my speech.⇩

Magical Math Boards

Magical Math Boards

In tumu hub for maths we have been doing these things called Math boards. Math boards are a piece of paper ( or you can do it digitaly) and you fold it into quaters with a shape in the middle here is a video to show you how to do it🠟

Oops also I forgot to explian what a Math board is . A Math board is as I said a piece of paper and you fold it into quarters and in one corner you put "solve it another way" and in another corner you put "solve it numerically" in the other two you put "solve it visually" and "make a word problem" in the middle you put your question. e.g 11x4=44. I am going to show you an example of one down below.
